St. Paul, MN – Wallin Education Partners surprised 17 students from three high schools with the news that they had been awarded a Wallin Scholarship!
Today, Wallin is announcing its newest class of scholars and celebrates the addition of 323 four-year scholars from 70+ high schools, receiving nearly $7.5 million in support. Each scholar will receive up to $16,000 over four years, advising, career programming and access to additional support. The surprise awards took place at Apple Valley High School, Como Park High School, and Owatonna High School. Ninety percent of this year’s class are students of color, 84% are first-generation, and 100% have demonstrated financial need. “Each student inspires us to continually strive for excellence and champion their success, as they shape their futures and our community,” said Mohamed Sallam, Ph.D., President & CEO of Wallin Education Partners.
