The Building Strong Families Pathway is for current college students who are Black, Indigenous, or students of color, and pursuing a career working with children and families.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
- Self-Identify as a Black, Indigenous, or person of color
- Undergraduate college student who will graduate in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028
- Declared major in Social Work, Family Studies, or Family Social Science
- Minimum College GPA of 2.5
- Intending to work with children and families post-graduation
- Parent(s) adjusted gross income (AGI) must be under $95,000 (up to $135,000 for a family of 6+ members). Applicants who are 24 years or older are assessed on their own (and spouse's income, if married)
- Enrolled in an eligible 4-Year partner college in Minnesota in Fall of 2026
