​Tom Holman is the Founder and Director of the Morning Foundation, a private foundation established in 1996 to focus on children's education, health, and social services.  Previously, Tom was an executive with Dell Computer Corporation.  Tom has served as interim Executive Director of Wallin Education Partners and interim Executive Director of the St. Paul Public Schools Foundation.
 
Tom has been a member of the Wallin Education Partners board of directors since its inception in 2008. In addition, Tom is the past Chair of the Board of Directors of Achieve Minneapolis, Treasurer of All-In Milwaukee, Treasurer and Chair-elect of the Search Institute Board, Chair of the Regional Board of Jefferson Awards for Public Service, and member of the Boards of Junior Achievement, and Genesys Works.  He was previously Chair of the Board of the Saint Paul Public Schools Foundation, President of the Board of the Ronald McDonald House, member of the Board of Directors of College Possible, and was a past member of the Education Transformation Initiative, the East Metro Education Funders Group, the Donor Advisory Council of the St. Paul Foundation, Co-Chair of a Citizen's League Task Force on College Access, Advisory Council of Achieve Minneapolis College and Career Centers, Chair of the Murray Junior High Site Council, member of the Wilder Opportunity Housing Investment Fund Group, member of several Mayoral Task Forces on education issues, and member of the Technical Advisory Group for the St. Paul Public Schools Accountability Framework.  Tom has also served as a consultant and advisor to a number of organizations including the St. Paul and Minneapolis School Districts, Achieve Minneapolis, Twin Cities RISE, the national AVID organization, and a number of startup non-profits working in education.  Tom earned his BSEE in Computer Engineering, MSE in Engineering, and an Executive MBA Certificate all from the University of Texas at Austin.
