Mia Jackman (she/hers) is an educator that is passionate about social justice, equity, and inclusion. Mia joins Wallin after serving in multiple capacities at various institutions in the Twin Cities including the University of St. Thomas, the University of Minnesota, and most recently Macalester College. Mia has her MA in Student Affairs from the University of St. Thomas and her BA from Hamline University in Social Justice, Elementary Education, and a minor in Religion. Mia approaches working with students from a holistic, relationship-centered framework.
Mia is a lifelong Minnesota resident that cares deeply about the strength of her local communities, storytelling, and mutual aid. At home, she is one-part video gamer, one part reader, one part painter, and one part dog mom to two lovely pitbulls in addition to being an engaged member of her communities.
