Melissa Worthington

​Melissa has been passionate about supporting fundraising efforts at Twin Cities nonprofits for over 20 years. She is the Manager of Advancement Operations, partnering with the Advancement Team to support more scholars through database management and reporting; donor prospect identification, research, and management; and supporting donor cultivation and stewardship efforts.

​Most recently, Melissa worked at Metro State University as the Prospect Development Manager within the Advancement Team. Prior to Metro State, she supported fundraising and marketing efforts at the Saint Paul and Minnesota Foundation. Melissa earned her Bachelor’s in Criminology from the University of Minnesota - Duluth. 

​In her free time, she loves traveling, reading, enjoying activities outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. Melissa lives with her husband in Mendota Heights, and they have two adult children.
