Melissa Pfeiffer

​Melissa joined Wallin Education Partners in November 2020 and serves as the Vice President of Finance and Operations. She provides strategic and operational leadership and is responsible for directing the organization’s finance, human resources, operations, and information technology functions.

Melissa has over 20 years of financial, operational, and technology management experience in mission-focused organizations. Melissa most recently served as the associate director of the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota for 14 years. She began her career as an auditor for Ernst & Young in Chicago, where she solidified a passion for the entrepreneurial and value-driven work in the nonprofit sector. She worked with nonprofit clients such as the American Bar Association, the Fund for Justice and Education, labor unions, and farmworker clinics. Melissa also previously held positions at the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Indiana University and the Urban Coalition. Through Board and volunteer service, she’s supported various organizations, and is currently an active working member of the Capitol View Communal Garden and Orchard. 

Melissa has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy and Sociology from Indiana University and a Human Resource Leadership Certificate from the University of St. Thomas. She enjoys outdoor activities, making art, gardening, and sharing food with family and friends.
