Mary Munoz

​Mary Munoz (she/her) is a first-generation college graduate and educator that centers students' experiences within her work as a Scholar Advisor. Mary aims to provide students with the support and resources needed as they navigate and build their own educational journeys. Mary's passion for working with students stems from her own experiences navigating collegiate structures as a first-generation Latina. Understanding how important community and support in the higher education environment are, Mary is excited to connect with students and further support their current success and successes yet to come.

Mary received a Master’s in Adult and Higher Education from the University of Oklahoma in 2020. She then worked with Macalester College's Residence Life - overseeing management of residential buildings and creating educational, inclusive environments for students. Most recently, she has worked with Girl Scouts River Valleys as their Latinx Partnerships Team Lead. Mary is incredibly excited to join the Wallin team and join their mission of supporting students’ success in collegiate and professional work.

​When not working, you can find Mary outside with her mini aussie - Dani, exploring the great outdoors! She is also passionate about art and can often be found drawing, photographing, or viewing a new art exhibit!
