Picture
Mark Christensen (CMA, MBA) has spent his working career at three companies:  Cummins Engines, Boston Scientific, and Medtronic (nee Covidien). Most recently, Mark has been the global finance leader for the Medtronic Diabetes Group and is currently the global finance leader for the Minimally Invasive Therapies Group (MITG).  Mark has worked in the medical device industry for nearly 25 years and appreciates the opportunity to work for companies that help people lead healthy lives.  Further, Mark feels fortunate to work in Medtronic where Win Wallin was an instrumental leader and shaper of its success.

Mark has an interest in helping young adults to reach their full potential.  While living in Boulder Colorado, Mark served on the board of Attention Homes which provides safe housing for at risk youth while encouraging and providing a pathway toward employment or schooling.  Serving on the Wallin board of trustees continues Mark’s mission of serving the young adults of the Twin Cities – providing access to college with a support system that dramatically improves graduation and career outcomes.

Mark and Amy Christensen reside in Maple Grove and have four young adult children ranging from 16 to 22 years-old. Mark likes to spend time with his family – mountain biking, hiking, camping, kayaking, and traveling.

Mark Christensen serves as Treasurer of Board of Trustees and Chair of Finance Committee
