She values higher education and understands the importance of having consistent mentors and support systems to develop self-efficacy and self-confidence. She earned her bachelor’s degree in social work at St. Catherine’s University, and her master’s at Capella’s University. Maihlee has a passion to be a mental health advocate for students. She is experienced with case managing students with their academic goals and personal growth. At Wallin Education Partners, she looks forward to supporting students with their academic achievement. Outside of work, Maihlee enjoys cross stitching, sudoku,and spending time with her little sister during her free time. Maihlee Lee serves as a 2-Year Scholar Advisor![]() Mary Munoz (she/her) is a first-generation college graduate and educator that centers students' experiences within her work as a Scholar Advisor. Mary aims to provide students with the support and resources needed as they navigate and build their own educational journeys. Mary's passion for working with students stems from her own experiences navigating collegiate structures as a first-generation Latina. Understanding how important community and support in the higher education environment are, Mary is excited to connect with students and further support their current success and successes yet to come. Mary received a Master’s in Adult and Higher Education from the University of Oklahoma in 2020. She then worked with Macalester College's Residence Life - overseeing management of residential buildings and creating educational, inclusive environments for students. Most recently, she has worked with Girl Scouts River Valleys as their Latinx Partnerships Team Lead. Mary is incredibly excited to join the Wallin team and join their mission of supporting students’ success in collegiate and professional work. When not working, you can find Mary outside with her mini aussie - Dani, exploring the great outdoors! She is also passionate about art and can often be found drawing, photographing, or viewing a new art exhibit! Mary Munoz serves as a 4-Year Scholar Advisor![]() As the Vice President of Programs, Tasia Tigue provides oversight and leadership for the vision, strategy, and implementation of Wallin's comprehensive advising support with the Scholar Programs team. Originally from Chicago, Tasia holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities and a master’s degree in Leadership in Student Affairs from the University of St. Thomas. Tasia came to Wallin from her role as Dean of Student Success, Equity, and Inclusion at Hennepin Technical College. Her passion for working with college students spans across the areas of academic advising, student activities, multicultural student services, and residence life. Her previous experience includes roles at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management and College of Education and Human Development, Malcolm X College, and the University of St. Thomas. Outside of Wallin, Tasia has strong opinions on Chipotle, Peloton, John Mayer and the best wings in the Twin Cities. Tasia enjoys going to concerts, traveling, binging Netflix shows, listening to podcasts and is a self-proclaimed foodie. Tasia Tigue serves as Vice President of Programs
![]() Rhea joined the team at Wallin Education Partners as the Career Development Partnerships Coordinator in January 2024. She has a passion for breaking down barriers in employment. Rhea is from the northern Twin Cities metro area. She is a first-generation college graduate. She completed an A.A. in Psychology from Anoka-Ramsey Community College before transferring to complete her undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities with a B.A in Anthropology, specializing in cultural anthropology. She has been in the employment services industry since 2017, mostly working with adults who have developmental disabilities and advocating for them, as well as other diverse populations, such as immigrants. She has become involved in areas of local government to help advocate for equitable causes. In her spare time, Rhea enjoys spending time with friends, exploring new places, trying new foods, playing augmented reality games while traveling.
