As Director of Opportunity Pathways and College to Career Initiatives, Matt wears multiple hats managing Wallin Education Partner’s new two-year scholar program, as well as developing and leading career exploration initiatives across the organization to support our 1,000+ current scholars. Matt works in close collaboration with community college and college access partners to strengthen the student supports of our program, while also continuing to build relationships with new donors.
Matt is also an adjunct faculty member of Carlson School of Management teaching a Social Venturing in Action Course and mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters Twin Cities. Matt previously has six years’ experience leading strategic development as a Program Manager for the 3M Foundation as well as commodity management experience in Global Strategic Sourcing while leading 3M’s New Employee Network. Matt was a member of the 2018 Leadership St. Paul Cohort and considers himself an eternal optimist and life enthusiast. Matt holds an MBA from Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and a B.A. in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University.
