Firi Dawid

Firi is a first generation Oromo immigrant who grew up in the Twin Cities. She holds a Bachelor's in Psychology from Augsburg University and a Master's in Multicultural Teaching & Learning from the University of Minnesota.

Her career in education and youth development spans across K-12 and most recently higher education with specialties in academic advising, career counseling, and leadership development. She is passionate about access and equity within education for all students and reducing barriers that have historically upheld systems of oppression and harm.

In her free time she loves going on walks especially if it includes an iced coffee regardless of the temperature outside!
