As Director of Scholar Support Services, Aloida and her advising team are responsible for scholar success at Wallin Education Partners. They use an intentional and holistic approach to help students navigate the academic, personal, and cultural challenges of university life. During a career that has spanned over 25 years, Aloida has brought a passion for increasing access to education, community organizing, and social justice to her work with under-served youth in the Twin Cities. She has served as Director of the Upward Bound program at the University of Minnesota, where she often collaborated with Wallin Education Partners to increase access to higher education for low-income, first-generation college bound students.

Aloida holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Welfare from the University of Minnesota. Her yoga and meditation practices help her to maintain clarity, focus, and empathy while handling the many demands of Wallin Education Partners’ ambitious scholarship program.
